The Three Musketeers book by Alexandre Dumas The 3 Musketeers is one of the best books I have read. I'm an unemployed college student that picked up the book and couldn't put it down. I have read the Count of Monte-Cristo, which is also a great book, and at first thought the 3 Musketeers would be a childish tale, but it turned out to be a great writing style that Dumas uses to take create four characters that I now love.
